Stay home if you are sick or you have nowhere essential to go. Wear your mask, maintain social distancing. This has been the anthem since the pandemic bared its fangs. Boy, was I losing my mind! A friend called me out of the blues and as we chatted, an unplanned trip to the mall came up. We told each a thousand reasons we should stay home. Who were we kidding? In one hour, we were en route to a popular mall in the Greater Toronto Area.
The trip down there was fun, but that’s erased as we approached the vicinity of the mall. We saw a long queue of people waiting to get into the mall. Worst of all, it was freezing. People were rubbing their hands and dancing on their feet to stay warm. And no, we were not socially distancing…
